2-day Workshop on cosmetic laser treatments--Laser workshops focus on different types of cosmetic laser treatments used in today's market such as permanent hair reduction, laser skin resurfacing, and vascular lesions. Combining Intense Pulse Light (better known as IPL), with additional light sources used to stimulate collagen, reduce hyperpigmentation and acne, is also covered.

Objectives: Distinguish mechanism of action laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Interpret patient skin type Categorizing skin and vascular lesions Patient expectations and benefits associated with treatments Describe patient contraindications Demonstrate proper techniques for application and operation of lasers and IPL's Describe laser safety, compliant with ANSI Z136.3-2005

Attendees receive course manual, consent forms, medical history, sample legal documents (California), standardized protocols and procedures, overview of marketing, e-business trends and demographic marketing concepts. We encourage attendees to participate with the hands-on segment of laser hair removal training and other demonstrations in the workshop.
